71/2 Habits

Interesting....

Listening to the tutorial made me do a bit of thinking. So, here is my "quick and not so dirty" take on the 71/2 habits:

1. Begin with the end in mind. That works when what you are "learning" is a positive thing. Something that doesn't throw you into a panic attack when you do think of what the end will hold or how far away the end is.
2. Accept responsibility.... I do ask questions a lot (mostly because of my forgetfulness)
3. View problems as challenges. This is something I need to work on. I just need to remind myself to be as positive as I can and not get into a huge frenzy.

4. Have confidence... I'll try!
5. Learning toolbox. Every minute of my LIFE is my toolbox.
6. Use technology to your advantage. Got the ipod, got the basic knowledge of computers (at least more than my parents!!) Should have gotten a radar detector for RT 81 over the holidays. That would have been to my advantage.
7. Teach and mentor others. I suppose I do this all the time as well. I just don't think of it the way 71/2 habits would like me to think of it.
71/2. Play. Yippee. This is hard for me too because I often put other people's needs in front of mine and therefore I don't have a lot of time to play. (do you hear the violins playing?)

So what have I learned? I think I just need to learn how to CHILL OUT!! (and not feel guilty about it when I do)

Is the New Year here yet?

I LOVE the holidays, but I'm feeling a bit stressed out. (picture Kramer doing his spazzy head shake with his hands out in front of him)
But, kids make Christmas even more special and my little one is 2 and she is so excited. And so, that is what it is all about, right? The joy you see in the children during the holidays.
I said the joy, not the greed!!!
